    BOARD DIRECTOR

    With a strong Family Financial Planning and Counseling foundation from BYU, Dr. Forman furthered his expertise with a Master’s in Retirement and Estate Planning and a PhD in Philosophy and Constitutional Law from George Wythe University. His dedication to education and governance is evident in his service on multiple school boards, including as Founder and Board Chairman of John Adams Academies, Inc.

    Chris Stephenson

    BOARD DIRECTOR

    Chris Stephenson, a resident of Northern California, brings to the board nearly 30 years of diversified international experience in operations, investments, real estate development, asset management, financing, construction, project management, joint-venture partnerships, venture capital, and technology.  Chris is a Partner at DCA Partners.  He holds an MA in Real Estate from Cornell University and a BS in Construction Management from CSU Sacramento.  

  • Matthew Post, Ph.D.

    BOARD DIRECTOR

    Matthew Post is a dedicated leader in liberal arts, classical texts, and character education. He is committed to fostering communities rooted in friendship, excellence, and service to the common good. He was the inaugural director of the first graduate K–12 classical teacher formation program in the U.S. and has spearheaded numerous education reform initiatives through program development, supervision, and fundraising.

  • Linda Forman

    Linda Forman’s journey has taken her around the world, from living in foreign countries as a child to studying at BYU and working in international law, publishing, and design. Her love for history, literature, and classical education has shaped her role in supporting John Adams Academy's vision of developing servant leaders and restoring America's heritage.

  • John T. Doolittle

    John T. Doolittle served as a U.S. Representative from 1991 to 2009 and a California State Senator from 1980 to 1990, holding key leadership roles in Congress. He co-founded the modern Republican Study Committee and championed limited government, secure borders, land management, and constitutional rights. Now president of Congressional Colleagues, LLC, he continues to advocate for policy reform and government accountability.

  • David Bobb

    David Bobb is a nationally recognized leader in civic education with over 25 years of experience in education reform and civic engagement. As president of the Bill of Rights Institute since 2013, he has expanded its reach to serve over 75,000 teachers and 7.5 million students. Previously, he founded Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Citizenship and Constitutional Studies and developed national civic education programs. An author and scholar, he wrote Humility: An Unlikely Biography of America’s Greatest Virtue and has contributed to the Wall Street Journal and Fast Company. He earned his Ph.D. in political science from Boston College.
